About Us
Parkinson's Disease (PD) afflicts millions of people worldwide and it is one of the most misunderstood diseases. The First Coast Parkinson's 5K Team hopes to bring awareness, funding and support to the research of the disease, the men and women diagnosed with PD, and the family members of PD patients.
The UF Health Jacksonville Neuroscience Institute and community volunteers have teamed together to hold this event, which we hope to grow annually into one of the premier races and community events of the First Coast of Florida.
